Beechwood 2004 Tom Craddock and Paul Caul Trophies introduced. The Tom Craddock Trophy was donated to the Club for presentation to winner of Mens annual championship (36 hole strokes). The Paddy Caul Plate was also donated for presentation to winner of the Stableford event for higher handicappers. Both trophies were sponsored by Gibneys and have been presented by Craddock and Caul families since. Won O’Grady Cup 2005 Lost Leinster Final of All Ireland Mixed v Enniscorthy, in Carton Won Ladies Fingal Seniors. 2006 Blue Nine Enhancements: Works undertaken to improve bunkering, upgrade the green surrounds and, create fairway bunkering. This work also aimed to improve the safety on the course by the removal of an internal OOB and improvements to some water features. The Architect was Jeff Howes. Won Ladies Fingal Seniors. Won Ladies East Leinster Minor. Friday Nighters celebrate 50 years. Malahide Inter Sports Club Golf Tournament starts. Now includes 6 Clubs: GAA, Soccer, Rugby, Tennis, Cricket & Golf. 2008 Won All Ireland Ladies Minor Final; Won McDonnell Cup, v Swords Open; Won Dublin JB Carr. Lost Leinster Fourball fi nal to Wexford GC. 2010 Red Nine Project: Major changes to 8 holes on Red Nine, designed by Architect Jeff Howes. Won Dublin JB Carr. Won Ladies East Leinster Senior Foursomes. Won Boys Junior Foursomes. 2011 Ladies win All Ireland Senior Foursomes. The team comprising (3 pairs play match play) is the lowest handicap team in the Ladies Section of Malahide Golf Club. With our players having minimum combined handicaps of 14 and matches played off scratch, our panel was extremely limited given the small number of players in this handicap range. What a huge achievement it was for this team, managed by Maura Falvey and Ciara Smith in winning the All Ireland pennant. Enniscorthy were beaten fi nalists. Men won the Best Cup beating Hazel Grove in fi nal. Won Ladies East Leinster Senior Foursomes. 2012 Malahide Junior boys won the Fingal Junior Team Trophy 2013 Malahide U15 boys won the Leinster GUI Match Play Trophy. 2015 Lost All Ireland Mixed Final to Dooks (in Dooks) 2016 Blue Holes enhanced and New Pitching Green Installed. Major work on Holes 5, 6, and 7. New Tee Box on Hole 4. The Architect was Martin Hawtree. Club Agrees Long Term Strategy with inputs from CGI.
