COURSE CARE
Divot mix bags
Each member has the responsibility to take a divot bag with them each time they go out
to play and remind their playing partners to take one. We are improving the level of divot
bags over the coming weeks and members should soon see the difference. If you find a
stand on the course with no full divot bags please email malahidecourseconvenor@gmail.

Pitch marks
Unrepaired Pitch marks remain a problem on our greens
Bunkers
We have now implemented the raking of the bunkers at weekend by our greens staff and
the improvement is there for all to see we will continue to change the sand on the yellow
nine to bring consistency across all 3 nines, with this in mind the members must take
responsibility for raking the bunkers after use and making sure that their playing partners
have also raked the bunkers after use. The raking of bunkers is not just the responsibility of
the course staff it is the responsibility of the player who uses them.
PLEASE NOTE MEMBERS ARE ASKED NOT TO EXIT THE COURSE AFTER FINISHING
ON THE 9TH RED CROSSING THE FRONT OF THE 9TH YELLOW GREEN, NOT
ONLY DOES THIS DAMAGE THE AREA IN FRONT OF THE GREEN THERE IS ALSO
A HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE WHEN PLAYERS ARE HITTING THEIR APPROACH
SHOTS TO THE 9TH ON THE YELLOW.
