How To Improve Your Putting in 5 Minutes If you practice your putting for 5 minutes before every time you play, I guarantee your putting will improve. Here are a couple of tips to help: 1. Practice your 4 footers - take 4 balls, place them around the hole at around 4 foot away. See how many times you can hole them. If you miss one you have to start again from the beginning. 2. Long putts - to help improve your feel and distance control, putt with your eyes closed. Start at about 30 feet from the hole, line up and set up, just before you start your stroke close your eyes, then visualise the hole.
